Anyone else’s gut completely change after trying Akkermansia stuff while on GLP-1?

27F here and I’m honestly confused if this is real or in my head. I’ve been on a GLP-1 for a few months (great for appetite and weight, awful for my stomach). The bloating, nausea, and feeling like food just sits there forever was getting brutal. Randomly saw people on tiktok talking about how Akkermansia muciniphila actually helps rebuild the mucus layer in your gut instead of just throwing probiotics at the problem.

So I picked up a next microbiome mucin-supporting microbiome approach (Akkermansia + a few other strains, HMO). Been taking it 4 weeks now.

So: Bloating is maybe 70% better, Nausea from the GLP-1 is way more tolerable, I’m staying full longer but without that gross “stuck food” feeling, even my sleep feels less broken

It’s not life-changing magic, but the difference is noticeable enough that I’m keeping it up.

Is this actually a thing or am I just experiencing a really expensive placebo? Has anyone else tried Akkermansia-focused stuff? Especially if you’re on GLP-1s? Thanks guys!

I thought I had normal neighbors… until boundaries stopped existing

I bought my house a little over two years ago, and for the first year everything felt pretty normal. It was a quiet street, decent neighbors, nothing out of the ordinary

The last year, though, has been a completely different story. A new family moved in next door, and since then it’s felt like every boundary just doesn’t exist for them. I know “difficult neighbors” is subjective and what bothers one person might not bother another, but this is on another level for me

They’ll literally walk into my front yard and stand close to the windows, saying they’re “just checking what we bought” or seeing if they should get the same things

At first I tried to be polite about it, but talking to them doesn’t really change anything… it just keeps happening. On top of that, I’ve had plants taken from my yard and moved to their porch because they ‘liked how they looked better there.’ A few young bushes and trees were cut back or damaged because they were ‘blocking sunlight’

No conversation, no asking, just done

The last drop was on a Sunday morning. I woke up early to noise and saw them trying to take down part of the fence between our properties because, in their words, their kids ‘need more space to play’ When I told them it’s my backyard, I was told I’m that heartless and that ‘God didn’t give me kids for a reason’

That one really stuck with me

I’ve already listed the place because I don’t see this improving or them planning to move

I’ve had a few inquiries and even looked into cash for houses pro just to get out quickly. At this point, it’s not even about profit and it’s just about whether staying somewhere like this is worth the stress

Even calling the police doesn’t really seem to solve anything long-term

The reason both times was a 214(b). Nothing but "Insufficient ties to your home country." The couple has their house, my father still goes to work; they've never overstayed anything anywhere. I'm telling you, we don't get what's going wrong here.

Having done tons of research, I can tell you that the problem lies in how they fill in their responses and not what documents they have. Too vague answers when talking about return plans can give rise to suspicion, no matter how convincing the papers might be. Officers spend 2-3 minutes deciding, and the body language counts more than many might expect.
The things that helped in this particular case:
Building up an immaculate bank statement over a period of 3-4 months, adding some property papers that were not mentioned before, and preparing their answers out loud so they would sound less artificial. The last part was done using permito ai, which helps you prepare for the interview because it creates an atmosphere of real discussion.
Third time lucky!

Have any of you succeeded with their third attempt?
