Question: does insert/card design influence your interest in a release?

I don’t know if this is a common opinion or not, but when I look at the sets for this year as an example, the design of the inserts and, to a lesser extent, the base set play pretty heavily into my interest in the set. The o pee chee premier cards this year look fantastic imo, and they make me want to pick up that set more than I otherwise would. Meanwhile, the series 2 inserts are kinda dumb looking honestly, and they reduce the appeal of the set to me cause I have no interest in getting a bunch of those cards. Is this just a me thing, or is card design like an actual factor for other people as well?

Pretty damn new to this hobby, but even though it’s a sticker and not a card, a bedard /10 feels like it’s easily the best thing I’ve pulled so far.

ECBP is my flavour profile to a tee, and I’ve heard nothing but good things about both the Jack heritage and Jefferson’s cask strength.
