They're just doing everything players don't want, for example recent hiveguard armour increase nobody asked for because they spawn in bulk which ruined turrets(both gatling and machinegun)
Or they do negative sum balancing(buff mech, buff enemies, unbuffed vehicles and turrets suffer)
Or outright lying by omission(the "we haven't nerfed the coyote...also "Slightly harder to be put on fire" thing")
and OTF effect is just one of cherries on top, they allow agitators to give buffs to automatons but giving same thing to players is suddenly impossible, just give us some pathetic 10% reload that's way better than ragebaiting flag, or better would be to KEEP the ragebait AND give US some buff so we would be like in "raise the flag" situation
