DBZ mis-characterization

Copy pasted my post from another DB community as I'd like a good consensus on my question. Apologies if this isn't okay.

I know questions similar have been asked in this sub many many times but I'm struggling to find out some solid answers on this and some examples. I'm 68 episodes into dubbed DBZ and noticed Gokus VA change. So I went looking into it and read many discussions about DBZ vs DBZ Kai and I am now curious.

Let me start by saying I know bits and pieces and arc orders about DB/DBZ/DBS I've just never watched it all through.

So for starters I do not mind the pacing of DBZ. I enjoy funny moments and excess world/character building. I don't mind multiple scenes of wasted yapping or powering up. So that's not really my concern.

I also don't mind dub quality as long as it improves over time. From what I've read the quality improves around the Cell arc.

I do slightly mind the video quality from Crunchyroll DBZ vs Hulu DBZ Kai. Kai looks watered down to me, seems more "fuzzy" or pixel-y. Colors looks duller.

My main concern. I keep seeing that the DBZ Dub dialogue is inaccurate and characterizes some of cast completely wrong. I've yet to find a post that explains this in detail though. How inaccurate is the Dub and what does everyone mean by mis-characterization? Can someone provide a few examples and is this truly an issue? Is it worth swapping to Kai if this is my only problem?

Above all else, Jaice isn't Australian in Kai, what even is this?!

TLDR: What are examples of mis-characterization between DBZ Dub and DBZ Kai Dub?
