Title says it all - he is a Vietnam vet, lifetime smoker. The afib scares him the most, but man oh man, what a lineup of things to have all at once.

I just came here to vent - it's hard driving him around to all these appointments with the VA medical folks when I feel like I am literally dragging a body up a steep hill, in a snowstorm, and then a tornado hits.

It's also wierd b/c he is dying slowly in front of me, but walking around and talking and (mostly) all there, psychologically.

THANK GOD, he is 100% service connected, and the Phoenix VA physicians we have seen have all been top-notch.

It is also very depressing to see all these Veterans milling around with nobody to help them.

This is a pretty far-fetched ask, but if any of you fine humans have dealt with this particular combo, and had a therapy/medication combo that helped keep the afib a bit under control that would be lovely!!
