So I went on opening day at the Phoenix store (some months ago now but it still annoys me). Stood in line for hours to get into the store. I had the intention of buying a high end PC taking advantage of their opening offers.
I found the one I wanted and a sales person came up to talk to me, I said this was what I wanted etc. He asked me if I wanted a protection plan on it (ofc not, they are a scam). I said no, I wasnt interested. He said he had to go in the back to check the stock and get me one.
It took a while but he came back to me (after he had talked to another customer on the way back) and said sorry they were OOS, then went to the other customer without any further comment.
I would have been ok with that but a friend that got into the store an hour or two after me, got the exact PC (with the warranty) that I had been told was OOS over an hour earlier.
I should have gone in and spoken to the manager when I found out a couple of days later but it was opening weekend and I didnt want to be in the line for hours again etc.
