I hope this is near enough on topic to get some helpful insight from experiences with your parents. I'm 73, healthy, fit, very active. My wife is 74, just diagnosed with Alzheimer's. She's in the mild cognitive impairment stage. We're realistic about her path and trying to decide between home health and moving to a very nice CCRC lifecare community, where we would start in independent living. The quandary is we love our home, the neighborhood and the neighbors, so we're agonizing over the decision to move or stay. Unfortunately, we have no family to call on, but we're very fortunate that money is not the main issue. Any input is much appreciated.
