Do Not Shop With World Deals, USA on Amazon
(Screenshots of reviews added) I am so incredibly mad and really wish I had thought to research their store so I would have seen the previous posts people have already made on here about them.
I have used Amazon for so long and have literally NEVER been scammed on there before, I have never had to research a store before buying. Everything has always been perfect. Until this freaking shop.
I was so excited when I found a book on their Amazon shop that I have been absolutely dying to buy my boyfriend for a surprise gift. It’s a gorgeous copy and it had quite a few 4 and 5 star reviews saying it’s really beautiful and most said it came in perfect, several said the corners were damaged and it was packaged correctly. I took the chance that the corners might get a bit dinged up since there were a lot more reviews saying it was perfect than the ones saying it was damaged.
I ordered it on April 2nd, it said it would be here between May 5th and May 26th, which I thought was odd since it said it ships with Prime but I’ve had an order say that once before and it was there so fast so I assumed it would still be here fast. I got an email a week later that it was shipped by the seller and not Amazon itself like I’m used to, and that there was absolutely no tracking information. Which really grated on me, I don’t mind if an order is going to take a while to get here as long as I can at least track it. Well it’s now been over a month and it’s 4 days past the first day they said it could be here, and I keep feeling more and more antsy that I’m not actually going to get this book.
So I took a closer look at the shop reviews not just this books reviews and oh boy. I’ll include the screenshots in the post because wtf. Why does Amazon keep saying that about each 1 star review?! Literally no accountability taken at all, I’m furious. I called Amazon customer service and the representative I talked to was wonderful, I very much appreciated him, he talked to the seller himself and assured me the book will be here soon (it sounded like he may have had them send another). I’m hoping this book is truly going to show up but regardless if it does or not, I have absolutely no trust in this Amazon store and highly do not recommend them.
