I recently bought Tomadachi Life and while playing, my switch decided to display a red battery symbol and put itself to sleep. I turned it back on just to see that there was 47% remaining battery life. After a few seconds of having it on, it just does the same thing and shuts off. After charging it and using it a few times since then, it does the same thing at around 48% battery life, like clockwork.
If it’s of any importance, my switch hasn’t been getting much use for the past year. Just the occasional session from my girlfriend or my little brother, but this problem hadn’t happened to them before.
I’ve seen a few solutions mentioning leaving it on until it completely runs out of battery, however it’s not feasible in my case as it shuts itself off practically immediately after turning it back on. Is there anyone that has a solution I can try before resorting to Nintendo Support or a repair shop?
