I took my first dose of Tirz 6 days ago. It was a microdose at .75 because I had planned to work my way up slowly to the full dose. That night, I got insane adrenaline dumps, couldn't sleep, really high heart rate, bad nausea etc. But that all kind of went away after 2 days, so fine. But a couple of days after that, I started getting a traveling itch on my skin, most commonly now at my ankles and knees, but also the top of my arms. It comes and goes but at night now for four days it's been UNBEARABLE. No bites, redness, swelling, or injection site, but just a mystery itch. I even spent a bunch of money on zyrtec, benadryl, topical anti itch cream, but it barely does anything. Pepcid seems to help at night but that's horrible for you to take every night - it totally destroys the stomach acid for digestion. (I already have SIBO). But now I cant sleep without it because it calms both my heart rate and itching. For anyone that had itching, when did it go away and how did you calm it? I can't take this ever again so I guess Im out $250. my vial has B3 added, I just figured since my dose was so small it wouldnt be heavy side effects. the clinic even barely did that dose for me, they wanted to start me at 2.5.

▲ 2 r/MCAS

I suspect I have actually had histamine intolerance my whole life, as I have endometriosis, bad periods, and have had to be on Zyrtec once a day for over 20 years. I also react to some foods and topicals. I had a bad bout of MCAS after covid, but with the right protocols it backed off. I thought I would get on Cromolyn Sodium (oral capsules, 100mg one per day) just as a final fail-safe to get to 100% but now Ive been on it 2.5 months and I've gained nearly 10 pounds fast and have just kind of this uncomfortable huge bloating feeling in my stomach. And that's with no change to my diet. I'm about to start Tirzepitide for my endo/inflammation which may help (my last resort before having to get excision surgery or a hysterectomy), but I'm wondering if I can back off my Cromolyn to 1 every other day. That might mitigate some of the weight gain and bloating? Has anyone tried that and still seen results? I saw on other threads here you have had to completely go off of it from the weight gain. I dont know that it's making enough difference to outweigh it. Or it could be good old perimenopause and have nothing to do with it.
