I had an account a few years back that randomly got signed into by some russian account and I couldnt get that account back. Thats fine. I know facebook is kind of like the worst but I needed to back up my account on a game through facebook. Essentially what happened was I went from iPhone (backed up game through Game Center) to android. Now data isn't always able to be transferred from device A to device B if Its game data.

So what basically happened was this: I either unlink game center and switch it to facebook, or I dont get to play my game from my new phone. I'd start over but Ive poured money into my game. I don't think I can hook it up to androids game center now but I will be trying that. Either way I decided to hook up to facebook with my main email. This email has ALL of my data. Again, I know this is my own fault and I know facebook blows. Anyhow, I hooked up the facebook and this time ai set up 4 DIFFERENT verification methods to ensure my data was "safe". This includes the authenticator, the recovery code, my finger print, whatsapp verification. And I even put a somewhat complex password for good measure. Now today I get a notification that they temporarily disabled my account until I give them my passport in order to verify myself.

So I said, "that cant be right, ill just log in and verify from a browser." So I tried that, verified myself successfully using my Drivers License (which I know is arguably more compromising than a passport) and then it says success! Put this code in and you can log back in. I do that and the app and browser BOTH keep redirecting me to this passport horse----. Not only do I not want to give them that, but my parents have my passport and told me they refused to give it to me. So even if I wanted to do that I couldnt. My parents see no issue with leaving it locked but the thing is that I dont want my account locked. Its mine. No one elses. Mine. And on top of that, this keeps happening to me everytime I make a facebook. What is wrong with this company? The worst support Ive ever seen. All links and redirects used by the way were facebook official. Im not stupid (ish) enough to give data to phishing and such. But now I dont know what to do.

First I get two discrepencies about which way I can verify, only for it to tell me im good, then pull the rug out from beneath me. On top of that, besides this alert I got, the app seemed like it was fine. I didnt get anything from the notifications center and nothing seemed out of the ordinary. Im not even positive Im being "hacked". I think what happened was that I switched to my new phone from the old one yesterday and its catching up with me to bite me in the rear today, but who knows. Either way I was fine until now. What do I do?
