Machine repair help [mueller direct premium espresso machine]
I have a Mueller Direct Premium Espresso Machine. MLR010557N
I got this machine used a few years ago. It has worked beautifully for me with daily use. I clean according to the machine descaler alert and have not changed my temp, grind setting, shot time or beans in the past severa months or years.
Yesterday I pulled the same shot I always do and it was extremely over extracted and “aspirin” tasting. This has been consistent over several shots since then, with no luck cleaning or adjusting grind settings. I am stumped. I am not the most mechanically inclined but am happy to give repairing my machine a shot if that could save me from buying a new machine.
Water comes out of the machine just fine, everything seems to be working as normal. Very confused and would love insight or ideas on things to check here.
