Hyatt advertised a promo to the business World of Hyatt cardholders for 3x points on restaurant orders through DoorDash until April 22nd. (I don’t know if the personal cards received the same promo.)

I wasted my time for more than 45 minutes today being passed around by Hyatt when I inquired why I only received the typical 1x. Had I known I would have lost 45 minutes of my day I wouldn’t have bothered. The rep was hostile and tried claiming I had to register for the promo and that it was a DoorDash issue. Both were false. I sent the promo email from Hyatt to verify the promo.

The only bright side is that I received my additional 2x points tonight for a whopping total of 137 Hyatt points.

Be forewarned that you will waste your time when you notice 1x points on your Chase statement.

Has anyone transferred points in the Flying Blue Family program between family members? If yes, does it really take 72 hours for the first transfer? If yes, does anyone know why the first transfer takes this long?

UPDATE: Air France rep says there is no way to expedite the first transfer of miles in the Flying Blue Family. It will take 72 hours. But I did learn I could place a hold with them for a flight.
