Media literacy isn’t “dead” you’re just exposed to more stupid opinions by the internet. Before the days of the internet you’d really only engage with media discussions with people you know or by reading something a reviewer/critic wrote. Now that you’re scrolling through discussions about your favorite show with people who 2nd screened it, it just seems like people are less media literate.
