Uncut & unfiltered. Decided I should give this bottle a shot after sitting in my cabinet since 2024. I struggled with the flavor profile of this bottle. I found it to be very metallic tasting with way too many green grass notes. I was pleasantly surprised when i poured this today. Rested it in glencairn for 15 minutes. Nose: caramel with a green apple. First sip: somewhat metallic but not as prevalent as in the past. Despite the 126 proof, the heat is inoffensive. I paid around $80 for this bottle, not sure that I would pay that now. After sitting in my cabinet for 2 years, I have to admit that it’s actually enjoyable. Anyone else have an opinion on this bottle?
