So I heard from a manager in like the last week that the max raise anyone cpuld get was like a 4% raise and that you cant get a raise even of you ask, how true is this?

So before I had this dream where id be in someone's house and everything felt normal but when I went upstairs there was this box or chest that if I got close id be blasted with not wanting/shouldn't open ot, and a hallway leading upstairs to another room that gave the same vibes. A few days to a week later I had a dream pretty close to it, but recently I haven't had any more of those dreams, what do you guys think it means?
