Iran said it would keep the Strait of Hormuz open during the Israel–Lebanon ceasefire, boosting market sentiment and sending U.S. stocks higher.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 868 points (+1.79%), while the S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite both hit record highs (7,126 and 24,468). Gains narrowed late in the session after Iran’s tougher stance.

Bitcoin climbed 3.1% to $77,569.
