How to get a new hire to quit quickly 101.

  1. Tell the new hire to their face that they don’t know what they’re doing even though that new hire has 15+ years of sales/retail/customer service experience.

  2. Tell the new hire (who’s worst legal offense has been a couple of speeding tickets) that they’re going to have to sell products that are highly illegal to “trusted” customers.

  3. Tell the new hire to stop being a whiney baby over major family struggles that can’t help but bubble over in to their attitude at work.

  4. Tell the new hire that on their first day working solo that you’ll be watching them on the store cameras to make sure that the new hire doesn’t make any mistakes.

  5. Brag to the new hire that you have a high turnover rate because “not many people have the willpower to meet the standards of the company.”

Before anyone says “Hey you should probably leave that job” I’m already planning to turn in my keys tomorrow citing point 2 as the main reason.
