Boyfriend Messed Up Finger- Is it getting worse & how to treat?
My boyfriend- (20 yro, AMAB) got his finger caught in an air rifle mechanism on Saturday the 2nd. It was bleeding for hours initially and we managed to wait it out and dress it with antibiotic cream + bandages and wrap.
On Tuesday the 5th we re-wrapped it and added more antibiotic. The first three pictures are from that day, before we re-wrapped.
Today Friday the 8th we unwrapped it again. Part of his skin on the bigger side of the wound has come off, and the skin around the edges looks white. The last three pictures are from today.
Should he see a doctor? Has it gotten worse or will it get worse? And how can we treat it at home?
