Inguinal Hernia—What Can I Actually Do Physically While I Wait for Surgery?

Hey everyone, I’ve been struggling with an inguinal hernia. I thought today was surgery day, but turns out it was just a consultation, and now surgery’s 4-6 weeks away. I didn’t get much time to ask my doctor about physical activity. So, has anyone been in this situation? Is running or any kind of exercise even an option while I wait? I’d love to know what worked for you.
