
Thanks to lots of research on this sub, I submitted a Goodwill deletion request to CBNA (Citi) via certified mail. Received a form back to fill out, requesting which charge I was disputing. Ok, tried again- 3 more certified letters to 3 different listed Citi addresses. Sent an email to the Citi executive response unit as well. They emailed a response of acknowledgment, requesting 15 days. I let it be, received a follow up email stating they needed more time to review. To my surprise, I woke up to alerts that they had changed a remark on my account and my credit scores had all tanked. I politely responded to their last email (which has a case number attached,) stating I was not disputing the account. I was acknowledging my previous mistake due to hardship and respectfully requesting a goodwill deletion. I’m really hoping they remove this new remark, forget the Goodwill at this point! Anyone been through this before or have any advice? Thanks so much!
