Internet is slow af
I’ve had my computer since the beginning of 2023, and it works great. Except the internet has always ranged from bad to simply unusable. I thought this was because of my position in my parents’ house (the furthest possible space from the modem).
But I just moved to a new place, and got a network plan with 1 gig, in large part to avoid the issues I had been having and somehow my internet signal is WORSE than before. I don’t know what I’m supposed to do anymore. My phone and every other device in the apartment gets a strong signal, but my computer is glacially slow and it’s making me lose my mind because I’ve run out of fixes.
The drivers are up to date, I’ve swapped the wifi adapter like 4 times, I’ve been connected with Ethernet and it still does nothing helpful.
Someone please help me figure this out because I cannot keep dealing with this shit speed.
