The latest update, iOS v 26.4.2 has utterly fukcced the Alarm Clock. For the past 3-4 years I have used the Alarm Clock found under the simple clock. It was a one-stop super easy setup. But in the continuing manner where iPhone clearly has inside employees determined to cause Steve Jobs to turn in his grave, with this latest sysop update the Alarm Clock feature is now buried knee deep in the excrement of the "Health" app burdened by a vast array of utterly unnecessary bloatware BS. TL;DR = the built in Alarm Clock feature is now unusable.
p.s. I do not give a flying F about my "sleep habits".... I just want to set a f*cking alarm.

ERGO & HENCE.... I logged into the App Store and literally tried about 15 different so-called "Free Alarm Apps!" Not joking. Opened up each one, and the second they started to bombard me with unnecessary garbage they got deleted off my phone. MOST of them are scammy bloatware garbage trying to con you into paying for "premium" features etc, mandatorily playing ads in your face before you can use the app. etc etc etc. JUNK.

Case in Point: I NEED A F*KKING ALARM CLOCK, and nothing else.
Hence I would give 0 or 1 star to MOST of them.

  1. Most of them are NOT AT ALL free. They have a catch - huge ads in your face, nag screens to buy the "premium" version, or you find out that "free" means "3-Day-Trial!" Oh boy!
F them all (and F Apple for the azzhats who decided to grossly over complicate the built in alarm rendering it useless).

  2. Of the 15 +/- that I tried looking for something SUPER SIMPLE that I can set up EASILY and on the fly, in the moment and half-asleep, ONLY TWO surfaced as being decent enough to be allowed to remain on my phone (that "delete app" button is SOOO handy).

The two that are above the rest are:
"Alarmy" (ICON = orange clock outline on white field)
and
"Alarmfy" (ICON = green alarm clock on black field with music note inside the clock)

(yes the only diff in the two names is the "f" in one of them - nonetheless, they are completely separate apps)

These two Apps won (i.e. were not deleted off my iPhone) because....
-- they were VERY easy to set up
-- they were not bogged down in garbage and bloatware
-- very simple interface
-- one allows you to wake up to NICE built in tones; one allows you to use your own music
-- Uncluttered by unnecessary garbage
-- any nag screens are kept to a minimum

Hope this helps people. If you do not yet have iOS 26.4.2 on your phone, be prepared for some serious BS.

Peace out.
