Hi so I stopped using Differin 3 weeks ago due to persistent redness and switched to a basic cleanser, barrier serum, moisturiser. SPF every morning and a layer of vaseline every night. In the last week I have been getting several clustered breakouts and the redness is no better than it was. Could this be irritation or just my skin breaking out from stopping differin?
My serum & moisturiser both contain niacinamide and I have heard this can cause severe irritation/redness in certain skin types. So maybe it's that? Thank you.
