My king and his longbeards

Getting ready for a tournament in just 2 weeks, and I've got a bit of basing left to do, but my army is otherwise ready, and I wanted to show off this anvil of a unit.

This is the list that I've slowly been gravitating towards and fine tuning over time. I'm getting a good win rate with it, but I don't feel it is overpowered and can be played around with the right tools.

Pros:

Strong anvil that doesn't suffer from marching.

Good board presence and mobility with the rangers and giros.

Gyros excel at warmachine hunting and can dive bomb on light infantry / screens on the way.

Some monster killing power in the cannons - reliably deals with the lesser stuff like Hippogriff or Griphons or gigantic spawns, but not going to do more than dent a dragon.

Fireball thane really good at being the fireball thane.

Cons:

Fairly samey gameplay, position so that the longbeards only get single charged, harass on the dies with the rangers.

Multi charges can devastate the longbeards.

Whiffing fire and flee on the gyros means they just die.

Current considerations.

2 runes of striking on the king is a very low use edge case. Considering dropping them entirely in favour of some throwing axes on the rangers and an extra model

Whilst I don't like overloading on warmachines, I think dropping giro count from 6 to 4 to fit in an extra cannon, and getting some runes on them for redundancy.

Any other changes you'd suggest without fundamentally changing the list?
