Do I need to announce a family cash gift that will be used only for the visa application costs?
My (UK)fiancé's parents are gifting them the money to cover the costs for my(USA) visa application. Do I need to announce this in the cash savings section? Do they need to hold the money for 6 months before we can submit an application? I believe the total would be about 5k. Thank you for any help.
