This is my first template, I followed a guide online and made adjustments to what I kinda needed for my modeling.

I’m an amateur, and wanted to try a low-poly style to get used to modeling a basic body shape so I can add more advance techniques to it later.

Ideally first I’d like to get this body shape and add an armature to it for some animation. So I guess my question is A. Is this template any good for my purposes? B. Any tips on modeling a blocky character like this? And C. Is this good practice at all or am I jumping the gun? I did make the holy donut so I have a decent understanding of blender lol.
