Seems like almost every board game (exc. coops) has one of three win conditions:

  1. Most (or fewest) points/VP/money/whatever (as in most Euros)

  2. First to achieve some common objective (as in most racing games)

  3. Defeat of all opponents' forces (as in most war games)

What are good examples of games with win conditions that don't fit well into one of these categories?

For example, chess has a rather unique win condition (checkmate).

What else?
