I’m running into a recurring issue with my A1M and I’m hoping someone has a permanent fix. For the second morning in a row, the device is refusing to boot after being left off overnight.
The Issue:
When I press the power button, I feel the haptic feedback, but the display and the controller lights do not react at all. It’s essentially a "black screen" state where only the power button haptics seem alive.
The Backstory:
This first happened yesterday morning. After an hour of troubleshooting, I finally got it to boot by holding the power button for about 60 seconds. Once it turned on, Windows gave me a PIN error and wouldn't let me type, so I had to do a full Windows reset. After that, it worked perfectly all day—I did all the updates, played games, and restarted it several times with zero issues.
However, after leaving it off overnight, I am back to the exact same problem this morning. I’ve been trying to get it to turn on for over an hour with no luck.
Troubleshooting already attempted today:
EC Reset: Held the power button for 60s. The LED flickers/blinks to acknowledge the reset, but the unit still won't boot.
Long Press variations: Held the power button for 30s, 60s, and 90s (both plugged in and unplugged).
Power Status: The charging LED is solid orange when plugged in, and it reacted to the EC reset, so the board is getting power.
