Adobe Interview experience for SRE-2 (DevOps)

I recently went through the interview process for an SRE role. The technical and managerial interview experience was overall good, and the interviewers were knowledgeable, professional, and focused on practical problem-solving, cloud infrastructure, automation, and operational scenarios.

However, my experience with the Talent Acquisition (TA) coordination was disappointing and unprofessional. Throughout the process, I was repeatedly informed that my feedback was positive, but after long waiting periods and multiple follow-ups, I was told that the position had already been filled.

What made the experience more frustrating was that even after this update, additional technical interview rounds were scheduled again for a similar role. I invested more time preparing and attending those rounds, only to once again receive delayed communication stating that the position had been filled. Most updates came only after repeated calls, messages, and follow-ups from my side.

While the interview panels themselves were impressive, the overall candidate experience suffered because of poor communication, unclear hiring decisions, and lack of timely closure from the TA team. I hope the recruitment coordination process improves in terms of transparency, communication, and respecting candidates’ time and effort.
