Onn. 4k Pro (2024) remote (re)pairing issue
The remote connectivity started having issues. I unpaired the remote from the device using my phone, then attempted to re-pair but it failed. How to get it to re-pair? I have the latest software on the onn streaming device.
I attempted the following procedure, am i sol?
Remove batteries from remote, press buttons, wait a few minutes, remove power cable from onn streamer device, let it sit for a few min, then plug power to the streamer, install batteries. Navigate to the remote pairing settings using my phone and attempt to pair a new remote. The streamer sees the remote but it fails to pair.
Anything else I should try or could try? I remember seeing some popups some time ago for "there is new software for your remote, to install press xyz (forgot what) and I tried pressing it but tbh not sure if that ever worked so my remote could be (?) on old firmware as well.
