Imho this game is a bit too tame.

When you off a character you get reset to neutral, when you run out of time you lose characters and your composition, so fine, i get it, you are punished for having an advantage, just so it will take more time to walk over someone, so it was made to be tame by design, and I see how Dark Phoenix doesn't fit, but devs please can we have some fun?

It fits lore wise and just look at her! I'm 100% sure they discussed this and decided they won't do it, but cmon, I only get ragequitted on 50% of the time, I want this to be 90%.

Edit: for those who don't know, in MVC3 if Phoneix died with 5 super bars she turned into Dark Phoneix and was by far the best character in the game, combined with her being the last character the games XFactor this was a win condition, and you could just teamkill with her as long as your opponent is not prepared. If you fail to win however you die, because she is on a timer very much like characters in Sudden Death now.

I see you have a lot of questions, I can see the struggle with adapting to the game which is admittedly not easy if its your first time, but I have something for you.

Watch this video: https://youtu.be/-VwtwDS7tWo?is=\_HbDrVfWTV9SU5no

Yes, this is a video about Guilty Gear Strive but also it's very universal, so a lot applies to Invincible VS as well, and it is also the best fighting game tutorial I found this far for newcomers.

Hope it helps some of you understanding the basics, and what to do when, but don't just watch it, if it's new to you actually drill what you see in training mode and don't skip actual practice.

So this far 30% of my matches in ranked were magically disconnected right before my opponent would get beaten, strange bug to say the least.

But in all seriousness I have not seen this rate of RQs since MK9, and even there it was like quarter of this.

Why is that?

(Maybe the fact that you have an option to quit a match just by pressing start -> main menu adds to it, but that can't be the only reason)
