FTM, LO is 7 weeks old. Over the past week or so, he has started to do a longer stretch for the first sleep of the night (usually from approximately 9pm to 2am) - the problem is that whereas he’d pretty promptly fall back asleep when the stretches were closer to 3 hours, he is now WIDE awake for 2+ hours in the middle of the night, which is going to slowly kill meee.

I’m super excited that he’s getting longer stretches but I really miss that 2am-5am sleep (this feels like an especially hard time to stay awake for me, even more so when I am trying to lull an infant to sleep that whole time.)

FTM, LO is 7 weeks old. My husband and I have started implementing a bit of a nighttime routine and even though it was never the plan, we’ve started giving baby a nightly bath. It’s not because we think he’s dirty but he just LOVES it - it calms him down so nicely in those early fussy evening hours. That’s a great perk but I have noticed his skin getting more rashy/irritated and as an eczema girl myself, I’m worried all the bathing is just making it worse. Thoughts?
