Looking for new workouts shoes. Mostly on track but sometimes road or treadmill. Sessions are around an hour. Midfoot striker, 175lb, wide/flat feet. Leaning towards something from asics or adidas. Haven't tried brooks/hoka/puma/mizuno
Current workout shoes:
Vaporfly 6 (400 mi) - Most used shoe at the moment for workouts. Nothing wrong with them just looking for something new. I like the aggressive foot placement and cushion so I can run longer sessions.
Boston 12 (800 mi across a couple pairs) - My HR loves this shoe but my feet hate them. Bottom of my feet start aching halfway through the session. I wore them on Monday for the first time in a while and could barely walk for several minutes after I took them off.
Superblast 2 (800 mi) - I haven't tried these at faster paces, but I feel like they would be too heavy? Would be willing to give these or the SB3 a shot. Even though they're a little firm and slappy, these irritate my feet the least out of all the shoes I've worn.
