My recommendations so far, as someone with super sensitive skin
I’ve been super invested in this sub lately, as someone who is struggling financially, but still wants to maintain my skincare routine. However, having super sensitive skin can make trying out new products a lil scary. The wrong product can and has resulted in allergic reactions and horrible breakouts for me.
I’ve spent an annoying amount of time pacing around in Dollar Tree scrolling through reviews to try and find products that would be good for me. These are the ones I have tried so far, and I’m happy to say that they’ve all worked quite well!!
The Dermasil lotion/moisturizer products have always been my cheap go-to if I’m traveling or can’t afford better moisturizer. The daily face cream is by far the best I’ve tried from them. I also quite enjoy the aloe body lotion.
Their oatmeal toner is nice as well, makes my skin super soft, although I’d recommend only using a drop or two during your routine. It’s thicker than you would expect and kinda takes a while to dry/absorb, especially with moisturizer.
The snail mucin essence also has a thick consistency that can take a little while to dry. I also find that it does make my cheeks a little bit red after applying, which thankfully fades within a few minutes. It also has a bit of a “sticky” feel if not rubbed in enough. This product keeps my skin super soft, helps with brightening, and gives me a nice glow.
I find that the oatmeal toner is better to use at night before bed, and the snail mucin is better for the beginning of the day.
The face/body spray is a nice addition to my general body skin routine, although I have yet to try it on my face. That plus the aloe body lotion have really been helping my eczema and dry skin patches around my body.
I do my routine 1-2x a day. I always do it at night after a shower; whether I do it in the morning depends on how lazy I’m feeling lol. My skin has been so soft and glowy, it looks better than ever!
Just wanted to share in hopes that I can help anyone else cautiously looking to try Dollar Tree beauty products. I’ll definitely make more posts reviewing whatever else I end up trying!
