Welp, Spirit Airlines has announced that they have ceased operations on 5/2/2026 @ 3am. They have announced that all flights are hereby cancelled.

Even though I have not flown with them since I lived in the states, I must say that Spirit gave me a lot of memories way back when I first traveled internationally. Spirit took me all over Latin America.

Now a second airline that I frequented, which primarily used yellow airliners, has gone belly up. The first one was Viva Air Colombia.
