At the turn of the year, I bought the Masunaga K3 Aries. It was expensive but great.

Having caught the eyewear wardrobe bug, I wanted to add a more casual pair for the weekend. I have researched a few and decided on the Moscot. It is an independent brand with a long and continuous history (like Masunaga). And yes, they are made in China, but to be honest, the craftsmanship and material is good for the price.

I wanted to get a lighter color Lemtosh, but unfortunately the pairs without metal nose pads don’t fit me. They wear too close and will touch my brows. So I settled on the tortoise colorway pair (pictured).

It turned out to be a great decision! I received lots of compliments. Despite it being 39g vs the Aries 25g, this pair wears more comfortable 😅. Perhaps that’s the acetate vs metal temple effect.

The lens on this pair is Zeiss with Photochromic X Brown. The fun thing about the Moscot is that I can add a clip on from their online store.

Now I hope I won’t go for more glasses retail therapy again soon!
