Kind of just a rant, and I’m aware this is probably worse on dating apps. But It happens pretty much every single time I match with someone I’m really interested in. We exchange a handful of messages, I tell them I want to take them on a date and they readily accept and give me their phone number. Then after just a few texts back and forth, radio silence. Sometimes we even make it through planing the date, sometimes they don’t even respond to the first text, but they never follow through on meeting. On the 1/10 chance the first date happens, they ghost all the same. I’ve come to expect it at this point, but I somehow still find a way to get my hopes up only for it to end in disappointment. It’s not affecting my self esteem, it’s just so frustrating and disheartening. Im not full of myself, but I’m aware that I’m at least attractive enough that women are at least interested surface level. I try to be fun and project interest in conversation, I don’t say anything pervy, and it just doesn’t seem to matter. I just wish people could communicate
