Traveling to the Tampa area for work and found a card room near the hard rock. I don't play much outside the panhandle, but I was shocked that after asking the dealer, the rake seems...different than the normal.

The rake structure is similar to my home room except they take a full rake preflop as well, contrary to the whole "no flop no drop" which I thought was pretty much universal for Florida. Is this common in mid and south Florida? Haven't seen many others do this.
