I temporarily deactivated my instagram account and I can't log back in
I temporarily deactivated my main Instagram account on February 11th, 2026, and have tried to log back in to it, but I am not allowed back in. I have typed in my backup codes and codes sent to my phone number and email (which are the correct ones), and still no successful logins, only constant errors saying: "Sorry, something went wrong, please try again". I also received an email stating “Your information is confirmed” after submitting a selfie video for the third attempt. And when I followed the steps to get into my account, I was still denied access. I was also allowed to change my password twice, but I was still not allowed to log back in. I've detached my phone number and email from all other accounts they were attached to, and yet I still can't log back in. Sometimes I'll type in my phone number to find my account when I click "My account has been hacked," just for it to pull up accounts that have nothing to do with that number or email. I am truly devastated. There are 10+ years worth of memories and friendships on that account, and I am graduating from University next month and will lose all contact with fellow classmates and friends, and won't be able to celebrate online with others.
