Am I better off buying another barrel or getting the P/W removed to suppress?

Didn’t know what I wanted to suppress with at time and BCM only had surefire muzzle devices (sorry I’m not paying rc2/4 prices) so I went with an A2X. Fast forward few months now I’m looking to suppress and torn on what I should do.

New S&W 2.0 competitor.

Clearly there should be some type of pin or screw to lock these pieces in but I turned my box upside down and didn’t find anything.
