Finally got notice that my place in Caboolture is now NBN ready.

I’m chasing a bit of advice/reassurance from people who’ve had installs done recently. Back in the early rollout days there were heaps of horror stories about NBNCo just installing the external box at the front corner of the house closest to the street, then leaving homeowners to pay extra later to get cabling run internally to where they actually wanted the connection point.

Has the install process improved since then, or is that still basically how they operate?
