we just did this almost exactly two years ago with the other mare. this is not quite as bad as hers was, but the same leg. why do they find everything that can hurt them!?

she was amazing for me, though - even lifting her leg up to help me flush it out. no flinching, no pulling back, and I could tell she was hurting. but she watched us clean and change dressings on her buddy every day for six months.(good thing we got lots of practice!) she knew we were helping, and she knew she needed it. smart girl.

apparently it even says "hi" when you turn it on!
