LFS has said this is a fungal infection and have given my Fungonex to use?? Just want to check this is correct. He’s so ill 😩

SPOILER: SICK FISH

Hi there, a few days ago I added six Pygmy Cory’s to my betta Disco’s tank. One of them died within the first hour, and Disco obviously wasn’t enjoying having them there, so I moved the pygmies to a different tank.

Now a few days later, it sounds odd but Disco’s mouth and face looks different? His mouth is swollen, he has more white on his face (almost looks like some kind of growth) and he’s generally being lethargic.

He doesn’t have any spots so I don’t think it’s ich… Is this some kind of tumour? Infection? The result of him killing one of the pygmies while I wasn’t watching?

The first three photos are when I first got him and the last four photos are now.

Now I can see him in proper light, is he an Emerald?
