Just reached the 600 mile break-in on my first bike and it’s been a journey.

After finishing my MSF course I went straight to the dealership with plans on getting on an R7, but I hesitated on pulling the trigger & it was sold the next day. Then I jumped on the saddle of this 636 and never looked back. I’m not gonna lie the first ride had me terrified feeling the instant response of the throttle, so I took my time, parking lot runs/ learning the brakes/ you name it I practiced it, with most importantly.. staying calm & focused. Now I think about riding everyday, begging for the weather to stay warm (EastCoast) so I can be on two wheels. I’ve always been obsessed with bikes since I was a kid, and I’m still surprised at how much joy I get when I turn that key hit the switch & that inline-4 starts roaring..(put that in my veins) Starting on a 600 is “crazy” I know but at the end of the day, Respect the bike, Respect yourself, & Ride your Ride. I’m looking forward to my first Szn, and hope to meet some good people along the way. 🤘🏾

600 down, lifetime to go.
