Warriors fan fiction!

I really wanted to write a Warriors fan fiction even though I have only read the first arc and a little more than 1/5 of Bluestars Prophecy. I wanted to make one where it has different clans and characters. Right now I’m mostly focusing on Treeclan so I haven’t really done much with other clans accept make a few character names and make descriptions of what the clans are like. The four clans are Treeclan, Monsterclan, Wildclan and Meadowclan.

Starting with Treeclan, Treeclan lives in a place very dense with trees and the trees are very tall. Sometimes they will climb the trees to see their territory better. They also have the smallest territory and a large verity of animals including Squirrels, Mice, Robins, Rabbits, Foxes, Deer and more. Apprentices actually live in hollow tree trunks although the trunks are too small so there’s 2 separate ones to fit all the apprentices.

Next we have Monsterclan. Monsterclan is the worst off out of all the clans. They have very little prey accept a few rabbits because it’s scared off by the thunderpath. Monsterclan also has very few trees in their territory. They have so little prey that every few moons they steal eggs from a twoleg farm in order to sustain themselves. They’re have been multiple attempts to get more land from the other clans that have all failed because they are so weak they can’t really fight well.

Moving on, the next clan on the list is Wildclan. Everything about Wildclan is wild. They mostly hunt bigger animals like deer and bears, they take more risks and in my opinion the best part is they have crazy names. Examples of Wildclan names include Shakastar and Thisawhistleclaw! I plan for all the clans to have unique naming patterns, but I havent really done that yet. I might need to rename some Treeclan characters later.

Last and least we have Meadowclan. Meadowclan is the most boring. They take less risks, have boring names and do boring stuff. What makes them interesting is they are boring. Of course they live in a meadow with rabbits and I don’t know what else. I’ll have to think about that.

What clan would you want to live in? I wouldn’t mind any of them accept Monsterclan, but I would pick Wildclan.

I wrote part of a story I’m working on that you can read! There’s a few things to know though or you will be confused at the end. Skystar, the leader of Treeclan is usually nice, but very strict. Break any rule and you could get banished from the clan, renamed to a mean name or other strict punishments. Eaglefang is the deputy and not as strict, but way grumpier. Skystar and Eaglefang also had kits together. It’s believed Skystar was biased because many cats think Iceheart or Honeytail would’ve been better deputys. Bloodstripe is great friends with Eaglefang and because Eaglefang is deputy he ends up with a lot of power. Bloodstripe is sometimes nice, but he also just enjoys being mean. I’ll admit not all that information was strictly necessary.

Now enjoy the story and tell me what you think!

“So Leafpaw,” Oakpaw meowed calmly. “How did you do on your assessment?” Leafpaw was a small tom with golden brown fur and green eyes.

“Well enough,” Leafpaw replied dismissively. “How about you?” “Oh excellent! Grassfur said I should be made a warrior in no time.” Leafpaw meowed solemnly, “Good for you,” and padded away to grab a mouse from the fresh kill pile. Instead of returning though, Leafpaw went to talk to Humpaw. Odd, Oakpaw thought. Leafpaw doesn’t usually talk to Humpaw.

Leafpaw and Humpaw were brothers, however, generally Leafpaw didn’t talk to him. Oakpaw suspected it was because Leafpaw didn’t want to get the same treatment as Humpaw. Moosepaw and Deerpaw always laughed about his hump. While Leafpaw wasn’t particularly close with Humpaw, Oakpaw was close with both of them.

While eating, Oakpaw saw the mentors whose apprentices took the assessment talking to Skystar about the results. Grassfur gave a proud glance at Oakpaw, but Honeytail, Leafpaws mentor, gave a worried glance towards Leafpaw.

“Oh I see what happened,” Oakpaw meowed to himself. “I had better talk to Leafpaw.”

Leafpaw kept a lot of secrets. From the moment they became friends he had been hiding things that Leafpaw didn’t want Oakpaw to know. One time when he was a kit he had to run from a fox and Leafpaw tried to act like nothing happened. He was revealed by his fear scent. Oakpaw had no idea how many secrets Leafpaw had that never got revealed. He was always worried his friend would hide something important from him and it would endanger Leafpaw or even the whole clan.

Oakpaw got up and padded across the camp to join Leafpaw and Humpaw. Humpaw was a slightly bigger tom with gray fur and a dark gray spot on his hump. Nobody knew how he got it.

“Hey Leafpaw,” he meowed calmly.

“Hi,” Leafpaw mumbled. “Listen Leafpaw. I know you didn’t do as good as you wanted on the assessment. I saw the look Honeytail gave in your direction.” Oakpaw paused. “It’s okay though. You’ll get through it and I promise I won’t become a warrior without you! I’ll refuse.” At once Leafpaw stormed into the apprentices trunk without a backwards glance, leaving his half eaten mouse behind. “Oh no!” Oakpaw shouted. “I’ve made it worse!”

“Sorry about that, Humpaw.”

Oakpaw was about to pad toward the apprentices trunk when he heard a voice calling him. The voice belonged to Honeytail.

“Oakpaw!” She called. “What is it, Honeytail?” Oakpaw asked. He paused to let her reach him. “Think about yourself more. You try to cheer Leafpaw up and he storms away, then you blame yourself!” Oakpaw meowed stubbornly, “It is my fault though.” If he hadn’t been so inconsiderate he could’ve helped Leafpaw. “No it’s not. Leafpaw has a great friend and the best he can do to repay you is storm off. Please don’t apologize to Leafpaw,” Honeytail pleaded. “Maybe you have a point,” Oakpaw mewed reluctantly. “I won’t talk to him right now.”

Oakpaw sat back down. He didn’t feel like eating anymore. Could Honeytail really be right?

“So, how did your assessment go?” Oakpaw asked, trying not to think about Leafpaw anymore.

Humpaw took a bite of squirrel. “Not bad. I’m sure Leafpaw will come around.”

After Humpaw finished eating, he went to the apprentices trunk for the night. Oakpaw went to follow. All the apprentices who used this trunk were inside. That included Oakpaw, Leafpaw and Spaghettipaw. There wasn’t enough room in the trunk for all 6 apprentices so the other 3 slept in a different trunk. That included Deerpaw, Moosepaw and Humpaw. Leafpaw was staring at the walls of the hollow tree. Oakpaw didn’t want to disturb him so he quietly started circling around his nest and laid down to go to sleep.

He heard a commotion in the other trunk. The sound of screaming and then Bloodstripe padding over.

“What in the name of Starclan is going on here?!” He yowled.

Oakpaw dashed out to see for himself. Bloodstripe was standing outside the trunk and peering in.

Deerpaw spoke.

“Humpaw rammed into me and Moosepaw with his hump!” Bloodstripe stared at a specific spot in the trunk that Oakpaw guessed was where Humpaw was. “Attacking your own clan member? Disgraceful. I’ll ask Skystar if we can revoke your apprentice status.” And with that Bloodstripe padded away towards Skystar.
