An Amsterdam classic that at £6/g, I couldn't resist taking a punt on!

Straight out the tub, this one is looking pretty nice. We've got dusty greens which on closer inspection consist of deep earthy, clay coloured pistilles and a nice coat of sandy trichomes. Bud structure is also old school, these are nice cloudy buds. I'd say bud size was fairly modest, lots of appropriately sized single dose nuggets and the odd medium size prize but no shake. At £6/g I'm satisfied with what I've got here

Onto smell and I got a bit of the olfactory nostalgia from this one! Pine, citrus, musk, pepper and that tinge of something 'amsterdammy' for lack of a better word 😅 this is nice but once again, it's nice in relation to the price tag. Breaking the buds open and it's a fairly average UK medical experience - on the dry side but theres definitely terps and life in this flower.

Thankfully, the flavour carries through. Initial hits of haze and notes of citrus come through bold but quite quickly develop into earthy pine, tailing out with more spice and peppertaking over. The £6/g Price point is relevant here, there's flavour and definitely terps and more than I expected at the price point but I'd be lying if I said it couldn't have just a bit more taste. Overall, I'm impressed and still satisfied.

Effects have been absolutely great for my conditions! I get a good clear focus, mental clarity and a good boost to my mood mellowing out to a smooth easy lingering mellow. This one for me does feel more balanced than I expected, I can push it towards the relax side when in on demand at 220° and beyond with the frolic or keep it light and avoid impairment at 180° sessions. It's been great in these longer sunny days!

Mine has been in a jar with boveda for a few days and is definitely starting to shine more. I'd confidently say this is worth £60 of most peoples money, definitely so if you have Amsterdam rose tinted glasses! If this one keeps delivering on the effects, I'll happily keep it on the script as for me, this is exactly what a £6/g flower should be

Upstate mochi gelato T28 £6.90/g

Took a chance on the upstate mochi gelato after noticing what seems to be a significant uplift in Upstate's quality on here and I'm not disappointed.

Opening the tub, this one is smelling strong and nice! Sticking my nose in the tub you get mainly gas trailing with a slight tinge of cream and maybe an even slighter hint of berry but the gas is dominant here.

The tub came with no smalls, the pictures show more than half of what's in the tub, these are big and dense buds with no shake or smalls. Beautiful shape and colours ranging from deep green through to purple, punctuated with bright orange pistilles nestled amongst nice amber trichomes. My pictures are bad, this is some seriously appealing - some of the nicest I've seen on UK medical.

Breaking into the buds was surprising, I was expecting density similar to 4c mac1 or something aurora but there's a bit more give to the buds. What I did notice is that the bud seems fresh and moist once you break into it and I was really happy to see good moisture and signs of life! Inside you see some of that pretty purple running through.

I'm vaping from a frolic and have only had the chance for a single dose which I enjoyed over a 5 minute session at 192°. The smell carries through and I'm happy to say this has some great terps! Once again, this is gas forward, first few pulls and you get tickled by gassy terps, no coughing but definitely a fizzy nose for the right reasons. Gas does give way to a more mellow, cakey, creamy taste which pleasantly lasted throughout my session. Vapour production was great, I was getting clouds all the way through and could have happily kept going beyond the 5 minute session.

Effects I'll keep brief and probably follow up if there's interest as I spend more time with this strain. This hit me harder than I anticipated, strong and heavy but without jitter or raceyness and melting into a lovely relaxing mellow. I got this to melt away the days anxiety and help me cut through the mental noise and enjoy my evenings. I think the mochi will be great for my needs here and will stick with me as a late evening strain. Others might get some milage out of this one in the daytime but gelatos have always done more for my sleep than any kush so I might be a bit of an outlier here.

I'm impressed, this is seriously good quality and a lovely example of a gelato if you don't mind losing a bit of cream to gas. This can easily trade blows with some of the expensive £8.50/g strains and probably beyond. It's rare that I repeat an order but this one is going to stay on my script.

This one came with Cinderella 99 which I'm also impressed with, I'll probably follow up with a review on the Cindy when I get a chance.
