Finally some success! Slow responder, splitting dosing, slow titrating bc of side effects

I’m just here to say, for all other slow responders, there’s still hope!!

So I posted in here a few months ago looking for advice, because I’ve been doing everything right but gaining weight somehow. Of course the TDEE, CICO, etc crowd jumped at the opportunity to tell me I’m not doing something right 🙄 or not in a big enough deficit. Which can be really dangerous to tell people who are already in big deficits. But! I got a bunch of good advice from people too- was directed toward the slow responder sub, lots of people mentioned potentially needing a high dose, learned about metabolic dysfunction and eating enough food. I made some adjustments and finally started losing! First picture is all time, second is the last 3 months. slowly but surely, the scale is moving now! I made it under 200 recently 😭

A little background- I tried sema years ago and it went very, VERY bad. Like hospital time bad. So when I decided to try tirz about a year later, I knew I wanted to titrate up super slow. Eventually (recently), I could tell my body would be okay with bigger increases. So, this is everything I did that finally started moving the scale:

- Started titrating up quicker, to get to 10mg
- To help with side effects on a high dose and the 6th/7th days food noise, I started splitting the dose. Monday nights + Friday mornings shots. This also just leveled out the meds in my system tbh.
- I started making sure I’m eating enough food. I also upped my protein intake.
- Split dosing is helping me be able to actually eat. I was eating so little that I think my body was trying to preserve my fat stores lol

Anyway, that’s all! It isn’t always about calories and your TDEE 🤷. Tirz is a metabolic healer too, and some people need a high dose and dosing alternatives to start seeing results 🖤.

P.S. I won’t be engaging with anyone saying I’m not doing CICO right or need to recalculate my TDEE or weigh my food or need to say I’m sedentary on my TDEE, etc etc etc. I already do all that shit. THANK YOU!!
