  • The compass will be small and round like in Starfield.
  • Fireballs will cast dynamic shadows.
  • REV-8 code will be reused for driving carts/horses/small boats.
  • You will be able to store stuff in your horse's saddlebags/cart and sell it to merchants directly from it, saving you trips to towns between clearing dungeons.
  • Player will be able to climb ledges.
  • Guards will be able to climb rooftops and jump between roofs while chasing you.
  • NPCs will be able to climb and jump in general.
  • There will be flying enemies that can properly navigate in 3D space instead of simply hovering above the ground and acting as if they were dirty ground pounders.
  • There will be ladders and NPCs will be able to use them.
  • Quickloot menu will be here, for the first time natively in TES game.
  • Building will be here, in one form or another. So will be the settlements.
  • Crafting will take after Fallout 4/76/Starfield, with items having slots where you can put various bonuses in exchange for various resources of progressively higher value. Traditional smiting/enchanting will be discarded.
  • Spell crafting will work the same way.
  • Coloured loot tiers will exist.
  • Legendary enemies will exist, with traits like in Free Lanes update.
  • RPG elements will exist.
  • There will be perks for hth/cooking/moving.
  • There will be debuffs acting like Afflictions from Starfield, requiring special treatment for each. You will receive them from enemy attacks/traps/enviromental damage.
  • Proc gen tech will be used for something. No idea what, but Bethesda never before discarded technology they've spent years developing.
  • Shader used for displaying ammo count will be reused for some fancy visual effect on some special weapon. Maybe scrolling daedric text on daedric weapons, I dunno.
  • Lock picking game will be new.
