Algae… can’t figure out.
Been dealing with these algae’s spreading.
Some on roots of pothos, and some on Amazon Sword leaves.
About 9 hours of light / day, partially due to window, but aquarium light is coming from about 3.5’ above the tank, and there is a lot of floaters, so it’s pretty low light by the time it hits mid tank or bottom.
Tank is about 4 months in. We have almost identical setup on another smaller 50 gal cube, with zero issues.
We have neocardinia (10x), bristle-nose plecos (x7), mollies (x10) and about 8 nerites, in hopes to help with algae problems.
I have a fluval fx6, co2, 300w grow light 3.5’ above waterline. We use RO to fill, 0 nitrates. I’ll occasionally supplement with root tabs, nitrate, or liquid potassium.
